Clinical Presentation to Nursing Office in a Selected International School

Nurses in Schools play an important role the provision of comprehensive health services to school students. Increased number students entering nurse office with chronic conditions requiring nursing attention during day. The aim this study is investigate related physical illness or injury that effects student’s studies and performance. Students International School Malaysia ailments are main factor affects their educational achievements. A total 2,764 visit logs were reviewed retrospectively from January 2012 December 2018. students’ age group ranging 4 17 years old. Most respondents boys (50.1%), mean 9.7 Standard Deviation (SD)=3.7. During visit, children mostly diagnosed (n=1432, 51.8%). Followed by stomach-ache (n=476, 17.2%) headache (n=383, 13.9%). Independent t test showed there was no significant difference (p=0.419) duration treatment (p=0.453), between girl who went for office. Pearson Chi Square indicated nationality diagnosis given clinic when compared gender, p=0.227 p=0.478, respectively. education primarily advise support success rather than directly deliver education.
